Org Chart draws the reporting line as a tree, starting from the top of the organisation. It has two modes: Graph mode reads the tenant's real manager/direct-report data from Microsoft Entra ID (needs the User.Read.All permission approved once by an admin). List mode reads a plain SharePoint list instead and needs no admin consent at all, which is what most people searching for "org chart from list" want.

What it needs in your tenant
- A SharePoint list:
OrgChart (list mode only). The web part's Set up lists button creates it on your site, and you choose which column means what in its settings. - A Microsoft Graph permission:
