A team absence calendar with request-and-approve, driven by list status.
Leave Calendar shows who is away, on a month view the whole team can read. People request time off from a short form and see their remaining allowance; approvers accept or reject requests from the same page, and only approved leave is shown as confirmed. Leave types, allowances and requests are two lists in your own site.
